Assistant Site Supervisor - $26-$27/hour - Nights

Our merchandising reps are dedicated, experienced, and our goal is to provide top notch merchandising services for our customers.

We are actively recruiting for two unique individuals to fill the role of an assistant site supervisor to help lead a crew through renovation projects around the country in a large big box retailer. The assistant site supervisor will bring retail experience, construction knowledge and ability to manage a team to the project.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assisting the site supervisor in overseeing a renovation project in a department store retailer
• Supervising and training team members
• Interpreting planograms and blue prints
• Building and installing retail fixtures and displays
• Possibly other Merchandising tasks such as display setup etc.
• Follow client-provided instruction regarding project completion timelines
• Monitor team progress and performance
• Complete online reporting as required
• Travel as needed across country for extended periods of time
• Proof of full Covid-19 vaccination required

• Experience as a project manager or supervisor is an asset 
• Building/construction experience with own tools to supply for projects is required
• Experience installing different gondola shelving
• Retail experience considered an asset (hardware/grocery is preferred)
• Planogram/blue print familiarity is an asset
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Freedom and willingness to travel extensively
• Ability to work nights 
• Valid driver license and clean driving record with a reliable vehicle
• PPE - CSA approved safety footwear, Hard Hat, Work Gloves, Face Mask

Rate: $26-$27 per hour, depending on experience.

Location: First project in Saskatoon, SK. Local work in Saskatoon available until September 2022. Travel could be required for future projects past this date. 

Start date: May 23rd, 2022

Availability: Sunday Night-Friday morning from 10:30pm-7:00am. All projects are night shift

Hours/week: Up to 40 hours/week with some conditions
